Our Double Degree Master’s Program in Global Change Ecology – a joint initiative between the University of Würzburg (Germany) and the University of Bergen (Norway) – is officially up and running! The program offers advanced training in Ecology, Conservation Biology, and Global Change Biology, including hands-on experience in applied ecology, remote sensing, and evolutionary biology.
Students explore the interactions of individuals, populations, and communities in complex ecosystems shaped by climate and land-use change. Through fieldwork, research projects, and interdisciplinary teaching, students develop the skills to independently design, conduct, and evaluate ecological studies – from alpine field sites to global environmental questions.
