Kim Lea Holzmann

I am an insect ecologist interested in functional community ecology, biodiversity and climate change. My work seeks to understand which environmental and climate features are important for insect communities, their traits and the ecological roles they play in the systems. I am the Principal investigator of research group “Insect Functional Ecology“. We use an integrative approach of field and lab experiments and ecological modelling to investigate how insect communities and their functional traits are associated with their environment, and whether they can acclimatise to new challenges.
